On December 22, Downtown Portland Clean & Safe hosted our annual holiday appreciation event for our cleaning and public safety teams from Central City Concern’s Clean Start program and GardaWorld. Over 150 attendees came together to enjoy a holiday lunch, live music, raffle prizes, and community.
Our outstanding cleaning and security teams work tirelessly each day to maintain clean streets, address public safety concerns, and assist our houseless neighbors. Their hard work helps make downtown Portland beautiful, vibrant, and welcoming. We could not be happier to celebrate them this holiday season.
We sincerely thank the teams at Portland Metro Chamber and Partners in Diversity for their help in packing holiday gift bags and serving lunch during the celebration. Our gratitude also goes to Franz Family Bakery, Mondelez International, Oregon State University, the Portland Timbers, and the Portland Trail Blazers for their generous contributions of gifts for the bags and items for the raffle! A special shout-out to Embassy Suites Downtown Portland for their exceptional hospitality.
